Sifu Wade Taylor- Chief Instructor
Sifu Wade Taylor is a 4th degree black belt in Kajukenbo and Philippine Martial Arts and is also a successful World and National Competitor. He is a two time NBL Sparing World Champion as well as a two time WEKAF Stick Fighting World Champion. Beyond the United States, Sifu Wade has traveled to Canada, Mexico and the Philippines to compete.
Sifu Wade started martial arts under the instruction of Professor Jordan Pallen at Pallens Martial Arts in Antioch, his hometown. He followed Professor to his current San Leandro location and has been teaching for over 10 years. Sifu Wade is dedicated to the success of his students. He provides a fun and structured environment for all of his students.
Sifu Wade is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, emphasizing in Physical Education.
Bu Kwan Jang Nim Melissa Sioson
BKJN Melissa (Apple) Sioson has 20 years of martial arts experience starting under her brother at the age of 4 and officially entering the ranks at 7. She is a 4th degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and American Karate. She credits her love and skill of martial arts to the careful instruction of Master Jim Buhisan and the school of USA Martial Arts in San Jose, California.
Ms. Sioson has been teaching and assisting classes since 1992, never failing her commitment to Black Belt Excellence for herself and her students.
BKJN Apple’s competition accomplishments include three NBL Forms World Titles and two IMAC Forms world Titles. She has appeared in ads for Tiger Claw and has been sponsored in competition by various companies.
Ms. Sioson graduated from University of South Carolina Upstate earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a cognate in Psychology.
