At Taylor’s Martial Arts, getting started in our Martial Arts or Cardio Kick Boxing (Fitness Class) program is easy.
Just call, e-mail, or drop in to schedule an appointment for your introductory lesson.
Your first lesson is FREE!
After your introductory lesson, you will meet with a program director to discuss the various options available to you and your family to begin making Martial Arts or Fitness Kickboxing classes a regular part of your healthy lifestyle!
Our Mission
Our mission is to help our students realize their full potential as people, as well as martial artists—all in a family friendly environment.
We strive to teach our students a curriculum that balances life skills, physical conditioning, and martial arts.
Taylor’s Martial Arts teaches a blended curriculum. Our primary martial arts style is Kajukenbo. Our curriculum also includes Tae Kwon Do, Philippine Martial Arts and Sport Karate (Competition).
Additionally, we put an emphasis on the basic principles of:

Children’s Programs
- Lil’ Ranger: 3-4 years old
- Power Ranger: 5-6 years old
- Children: 7-12
Our Lil’ Ranger, Power Ranger and Children’s classes are structured to allow students to gain an understanding of specific martial arts techniques before being introduced to new concepts. Each class is geared to the abilities of the student.
Lil’ Ranger and Power Ranger Classes place an emphasis on martial arts drills and fun to allow students to learn Discipline, Respect, Coordination, and Cooperation in an exciting and nurturing environment. Each class contains lessons on the importance of manners, respect, and how to deal with dangerous situations—like getting lost, dealing with bullies, or being approached by strangers.
Children’s Classes teach students a basic curriculum that emphasizes Discipline, Respect, and Self-Defense. The techniques taught in these classes will improve coordination and balance, increase flexibility and improve physical fitness. Additionally, we teach the importance of life skills—such as perseverance, good manners and avoiding dangerous situations.
Teen and Adult Programs
- Teens: 13-17 years old
- Adults: 18 years old & above
Taylor’s Martial Arts has classes for both teenagers and adults. Each class is taught by our first-rate instructors to meet the needs of these students. Classes are paced to ensure that the students are well-versed and confident in the techniques before advancing to the next rank.
Our Teen Classes are geared to the abilities of these students and addresses their needs. As the students progress through the ranks, and their skill level increases, they will become more confident and capable. Our teens will improve their conditioning and coordination, discipline and self-control, increase their confidence, and learn practical, effective self-defense.
Our Adult Classes feature a blend of practical martial arts and physical fitness that allow our students to become skilled, relieve stress and improve their conditioning, all in a family-friendly environment. Our adult students will learn a structured martial arts curriculum that has practical applications for everyday life. Focus, control, discipline, conditioning, and practical self-defense techniques are some of the benefits of our adult classes.
Cardio Kick Boxing (Fitness Classes)
Cardio Kick Boxing (Fitness Class) is a workout class that blends traditional cardiovascular and strength training with martial arts techniques.
These classes, set to music, are an enjoyable way to get fit and stay fit. Classes employ rhythmic training, heavy bags, and martial arts to keep workouts fresh and exciting.
These classes are a great way to improve your cardiovascular conditioning, improve muscle tone, and have fun while getting in better shape.
